How will this item 'ensure sampling of the air' through the detector. It doesn't. All it can do is measure the velocity of the air going past the tubes. If the tubes are clogged you will never know. It is an airspeed detector only. In order to test properly you need something that attaches to both the inlet and outlet sample tubes. Rebel Equipped: May I suggest looking at the DuctChecker which samples air streams.
